Send a Lab Project

We need your help

Harness the idealism and enthusiasm of your group with a hands-on international project. Beginning fall, 2007, your group can send their own refurbished computer lab and provide technical support to an East African community in the area we are serving. How?

  1. Contact CFA if you are interested in this project. A short conversation will help us answer your questions and plan space in our next shipment.
  2. Refurbish 10, 15 or 20 computers into a lab using CFA’s specifications and “how-to manual" (available, fall, 2007).
  3. Stack of computersPackage and ship the computers to Omaha, Nebraska. You may wish to include messages of support or your e-mail address in the boxes. You will be responsible for the cost of shipment to Omaha only. CFA will assign the lab to an African community, arrange international transportation and provide comprehensive in-country ICT support.
  4. Raise and donate $25 per computer to CFA. These funds will support the development of a sustainable, maximum impact ICT program in your beneficiary community.
